About Me

I am a freelance copy editor and proofreader with more than thirty years of experience in a broad variety of professional fields: academic, business, and nonprofit. My editing experience includes corporate and government sales/marketing literature and white papers; energy/power sector reports; medical manufacturing training manuals; arts marketing, public relations, and fundraising literature; nonprofit policy research working papers, case studies, and regional studies (for the World Bank).

I edit American, British, Canadian, and Australian English and am conversant with Chicago, Turabian, Oxford, APA, MLA, AP, and Harvard editorial conventions, among others.

I also edit ESL documents for an international clientele of academic writers whose mother tongue is not English.

I am a published children's author and critique and edit children's fiction and nonfiction.

Publishing clients include Harvard University Press, Simon & Schuster, Palgrave Macmillan, Continuum, and Anthem Press (academic books); and Advantage Media (business books).
